Dark Day

This day is one to remember...another one of life's chapters end, but there seems to be no closure...at this time. The wounds of past have reopened and a numbness fills my being. I search the Truth found in His Word and hard words, like: "forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us," pierce my heart. The words are easy to recite and some have learned them from childhood, but the meaning is awesome and now difficult to reach. How can I display perfect love? How can I forgive and move on? I cannot at this time and I fall far short. I know in my own strength, this is impossible; however, it is by grace I stand through faith and I shall overcome. So, this day as my hard heart softens in the hand of the Master, I am thankful for the love of a perfect Father who comforts those who mourn. Peace be with us all....
